We study AI and its governance, conducting fundamental and applied research across disciplines, sharing our findings through both academic venues, and through tools, pilots and guidance.
We respond quickly to urgent policy questions while sustaining long-term inquiry that is anchored in theoretical foundation and concrete models, methods and data. We aim to work with partners in Sweden and worldwide to make AI governance transparent, accountable and democratic by connecting research, practice and society.
AI Policy Lab is funded by the Wallenberg Foundation.
